Amelia served as an intern with the Conservation Biology CTE program through Kalamazoo Regional Educational Service Agency and the Kalamazoo Nature Center. During her internship, she studied environmental racism, tree equity, and the intersection of climate change and social issues. Her talk covers that research, and the history of environmental injustice in Kalamazoo.
