In Macedonia, the mixture of Mediterranean and temperate climates, as well as the difference in terrain, from lush valleys to arid hillsides, contributes to some exciting flavors and meals. From peppers to beans to fermented whole heads of cabbage, nobody goes hungry when the abundance is shared!
